The main objective of this study is to provide an indepth understanding of the observed low trends in the girls and women’s secondary and higher education attainment from the findings of PLHDS. Consumer Price Index: All Groups CPI, June 2025. Puntland basket of consumer goods and services sample contains 12 categories based on the standard classification of individual consumption by purpose. These 12 categories consist of 387 individual items of goods and services, and the price per item is collected from the markets of all the major cities in Puntland on weekly basis. The All-Groups CPI decreased from 102.7 to 102.58 in June 2025. The monthly change of June 2025 was decrease of -0.11 percent compared to decrease of -0.29 percent in the previous month of May 2025. The most significant monthly price decrease was in tobacco & khat (-1.23%), furnishing, households and maintenance (- 0.49%), food & beverages (-0.33%). These negative movements led to price decline at All-Groups of CPI level.

These 12 categories consist of 387 individual items of goods and services, and the price per item is collected from the markets of all the major cities in Puntland on weekly basis. The All-Groups CPI decreased from 103 to 102.7 in May 2025. The monthly change of May 2025 was decrease of -0.29 percent compared to an increase of 0.10 percent in the previous month of April 2025. The most significant monthly price decrease was in Food & Beverages (-0.87%) and Transport (-0.09%). These negative movements led to price development at All-Groups of CPI level.
